Privacy Policy — RunnR
Summary
RunnR is a track-and-field arcade game. We collect only the minimum data needed to run the game and its optional online features. We do not ask for your name or email, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
What the app stores on your device
- Your settings, personal-best distances/times, and recent results are saved locally on your device only. Deleting the app removes them.
Optional online multiplayer (Supabase)
If you start an online race, the app connects to our backend provider Supabase to match you with other players and relay race state. For this it uses an anonymous account: a random identifier with no name, email, or contact details. Transient gameplay data (race position/timing for the current match, room codes) is exchanged so the devices stay in sync. Traffic is encrypted in transit. We do not use this data for advertising or profiling. Supabase processes this data on our behalf; see supabase.com/privacy.
Leaderboards & achievements (Apple Game Center / Google Play Games)
If you are signed in to Apple Game Center or Google Play Games, the app submits your scores and unlocks achievements through those services. That data is handled by Apple/Google under their own privacy policies; we only send the score value and achievement id.
What we do NOT collect
- No name, email, phone number, or account registration.
- No precise or approximate location.
- No advertising identifiers, no cross-app/cross-site tracking, no third-party analytics.
Legal basis (GDPR)
Processing for online multiplayer is necessary to provide the feature you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Local data never leaves your device.
Children
The game is suitable for general audiences and contains no advertising. It does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your rights / contact
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we do not collect data tied to your identity, there is normally nothing to access or delete. To request deletion of an anonymous online record, or for any privacy question, contact info@trainv.de.
